Human Options celebrated Serious Fun 2008 “A Night of Latin Lights” at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Resort in Huntington Beach on May 31, 2008. It was a festive evening of dining and dancing where we proudly honored Ellen Shockro and Jack Shaw as our 2008 Dove Award Honorees for their leadership in this community and their dedication to Human Options' mission.

 

Thanks to the tremendous support of our Co-Chairs Susan and Steve Giusto and Kate and Tim Duchene, the Fall Luncheon Event committee, and the Human Options Board of Directors, Human Options was once again able to exceed our goals and raise over $270,000. Dr. Pollack engaged the crowd with his discussion on the troubles and challenges our boys face today and how we can better understand them, communicate with them, and help them to become emotionally healthier young men. We are grateful for the incredible support this community provides to our community education programs and we look forward to bringing more crucial information about preventing domestic violence to you next year.

Human Options shared a beautiful night in Huntington Beach with nearly 600 of our honored guests at our annual fundraising gala. This year’s theme, “Good vibrations from generation to generation” brought the crowd together for a night of celebration and FUN!
